I learnt from YouTube videos :) tjw1963 does some great crochet basics videos [link] and the amigurumi vid I learnt from is this one by Wire My Soul [link] It's in 2 parts :) There are LOADS on there though :)
Give it a go - it's not as difficult as it looks! :D
